Georg Zanger  

Dr. Georg Zanger, a graduate of the Universities of Vienna and St. Gallen, is the head of zanger  bewegt, a law boutique in Vienna, specialised in Commercial Law, Mergers & Acquisitions,  Intellectual Property, Competition, Copyright, Telecommunication and Media Law. Dr. Zanger acts as legal council for many international companies establishing a subsidiary in Austria.  Because of its recognition in Austria and sustainable international network zanger bewegt offers efficient judicial help in cases of company foundation and Mergers & Acquisitions. Furthermore, he has been concerned with legal assistance of Chinese investors in Europe. Moreover, Dr. Zanger has regularly acted as counsel of the Bank Winter & Co, which focused on business in the eastern region, as well as of politicians such as the former President of Austria Dr. Thomas Klestil, the current President of Austria Dr. Heinz Fischer, the former Federal Chancellor Dr. Franz Vranitzky and many other leading figures. Dr. Zanger has published numerous books and articles in juridical journals and newspapers. Besides, he has taught at the Universities of Salzburg and Vienna. Since 2007 Dr. Zanger has successfully established an international network, including great Chinese law firms of high renown, Chinese government agencies and Chinese companies. His engagement led to the foundation of the “Austrian-Chinese Business Association” (ACBA). As elected President of ACBA, Dr.  Zanger especially endeavours to lower mutual prejudices and to establish strong ties between Chinese and Austrian companies in order to strengthen economic relation between China and Europe.
