Having worked on the front line of teaching for 36 years, He Renke has received honors such as First Prize of National Teaching Achievements, First Prize of National Textbooks, and the title National Teaching Master. He drafted the discipline construction plan and evaluation system of industrial design in China, participated in national key projects, and has won many awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level. His effort has significantly promoted industrial design in China. He serves as the chairperson and jury member of several international design awards. He is the only Chinese expert who serves as a jury member for four major international design awards, namely the iF Award, the Reddot Design Award, the G-Mark Award, and the IDEA Awards.
