He is the chief of The Art Engineering department of Tianjin Light Industry Vocational Technical College, the Chief for Cui XueShan Studio, and the Chief for Senior Examination and Comment Commission in Tianjin Arts and Crafts Series

Mr. Cui worked on artistic innovation, design and manufacturing, technique R&D, traditional culture and carpet techniques, education and training of carpet and tapestry for more than 50 years. He was once a member of Tianjin Carpet Industry Art Director Group, a member of review team of new products, new patterns and new techniques, and a member of Technology Subject Seminar. He constantly explored and expanded the traditional techniques and designed many excellent carpets based on his accumulation of theories and skills. Mr. Cui participated in the upgrading and growth of Tianjin carpet industry and played a leading role in this process. He was also in the drafting team of 5 national standards, reviewed 14 national standards and 4 trade standards; headed the editing of Fundamentals of Carpet Designers. As a principal panel member of the national occupation standards for carpet designers, Mr. Cui is a master of the carpet industry with global reputation.
