He has taken position in Tongji University, as vice director of Design Art of School of architecture and city planning, vice dean of college of Design and Innovation. He has been awarded as Top 10 Educators of China Industrial Design Education. He is mainly engaged in research of design behavior, design cognitive science and design thinking. He has presided and participated in design projects like the World Expo, Beichuan Earthquake Ruins Museum and Shanghai Metro, and product design of enterprises.
