 Linghao Zhang | Linghao Zhang Zhang Linghao is currently the Vice President of Jiangnan University, Distinguished Professor and PhD Supervisor of School of Design, Winner of National Talents Plans and the Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talents Supporting Plan, and one of the Top 10 Educators in the First National Top 10 Industrial Design Award. He is also a Visiting Scholar at Politecnico di Milano. He is the director of the Experience Design Frontier Methodology and Technology Research Center supported by the Ministry of Education, and he is leading the National Light Industry Industrial Design Key Laboratory, as well as the System Innovation and Strategic Design Research Group. He is now also the Deputy Director of University Industrial Design Program Teaching Guidance Committee under the Ministry of Education, Vice President of the China Industrial Design Association, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Art Education Teaching Guidance Committee for postgraduate students, and the Committee Judge for the Final Round of the National Best Industrial Design Award. For the past decade, he has been focused on the construction of the national home appliances and consumer electronics as well as the service ecology. He is dedicated on the design education, research and practices of Chinese product design strategy and methods, system innovation and design strategy, and user experience design. He is a design practitioner with rich experience in design practice, design management and design research, with frontier design perception and innovative methodologies. He is the chairman of the 2018 Cumulus Wuxi Conference and the initiator of the Design for Transition International Conference series. |
